Repostit
ChatGPT

Your social publishing,
now in ChatGPT.

Turn a conversation into a video draft or a publishing schedule. Connect Repostit to ChatGPT to manage your connected accounts and follow each post from draft to delivery.

Already have an account? Sign in to Repostit. This guide describes the currently public version. Version 1.1 is awaiting publication. Your Repostit plan limits still apply.

Get connected in three steps

1

Connect your social accounts

Sign in to Repostit and open Connections. Add the accounts you want to publish to . Complete each provider’s sign-in and permission steps there.

2

Add Repostit to ChatGPT

Open Repostit in the ChatGPT directory, or open the Plugins directory and search for Repostit. Select Install or Connect, sign in to Repostit when prompted, and review the requested permissions.

3

Start with your accounts

Select Repostit in the chat tools menu, or mention @Repostit, then ask it to list your connected accounts. Confirm the account names and platforms before selecting a destination .

“Which social accounts are connected to my Repostit account?”

What you can ask ChatGPT to do

Create a video draft

Create an editable video Brief for your connected accounts. A Brief is Repostit’s saved post draft.

“Create a video draft using this downloadable HTTPS video URL for my connected YouTube channel. Use this title and description: …”

Draft creation saves the content. Publish it when you are ready.

Schedule a saved post

Choose an exact future time for a saved Brief. Include your timezone so ChatGPT can select the right instant.

“Schedule that Brief for tomorrow at 10:00, Europe/Rome.”

All destinations selected in that Brief share its scheduled time.

Choose the right accounts

List your connected social accounts and choose the exact destinations for your video.

“List my connected accounts, then create a video draft for these destinations: …”

Connect additional social accounts in Repostit’s Connections page.

Publish and check delivery

Queue a saved Brief for publishing and inspect the result for each selected destination.

“Publish that Brief now, then check its delivery status and show any available public links.”

Queued means the request was accepted. Provider-confirmed publication and a public link are stronger evidence of delivery.

Provide a video ChatGPT can send

The public plugin creates video Briefs for compatible connected destinations. Provide a downloadable HTTPS video URL, the destination accounts, and the required title or description. Platform media requirements and Repostit plan limits still apply.

Version 1.1: awaiting publication

The next version adds text, image and carousel drafts, social-account connection links, and workflow creation. These features are not yet available through the public ChatGPT listing. For now, manage those actions directly in Repostit.

Know what happens next

Draft

Content is saved and editable. Creating a Brief does not publish or schedule it.

Scheduled or queued

A scheduled Brief waits for its publishing time. A queued Brief is waiting for processing; delivery can still fail at the provider.

Delivered

Check each destination’s provider result. Public permalinks appear when the provider makes them available.

Publishing a Brief sends it to every destination selected in that Brief. Workflows are managed directly in Repostit until version 1.1 is publicly available.

Your account, permissions, and privacy

ChatGPT acts through the permissions you approve on Repostit’s authorization page: reading connected accounts, creating video Briefs, scheduling or publishing, and reading delivery status. Social-provider sign-in happens in Repostit; provider credentials and access tokens are not passed to ChatGPT.

To connect another social account, open Repostit Connections and finish the provider authorization there. You can disconnect Repostit in ChatGPT; contact support if you need help revoking access. Approved offline access can renew automatically for up to 90 days from the original authorization.

Repostit plan limits and each social platform’s requirements apply to connector activity. Review the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Questions and troubleshooting

Why is one of my social accounts missing?

Check that it is connected and active in Repostit Connections. Confirm you authorized the correct Repostit account, then ask ChatGPT to list accounts again. A personal LinkedIn profile and a company page are separate destinations.

Why did publishing fail?

Ask ChatGPT for the Brief’s delivery status. Check the provider’s error, connection status, media requirements, permissions, and remaining plan allowance. Use the Help Center for provider-specific guidance. Inspect the existing result before retrying so you avoid duplicate posts.

Can I create carousels or workflows in ChatGPT?

These are version 1.1 features, which are awaiting public availability. Use Repostit directly for now. The public plugin supports listing accounts, creating video drafts, scheduling, publishing, and checking delivery.

What if sign-in or authorization fails?

Disconnect and reconnect Repostit in ChatGPT, sign in to the intended Repostit account, and review the requested permissions. If the app is unavailable, check your ChatGPT account and workspace restrictions. Version 1.1 tools will become available once the update is published.

Does Repostit create the images or videos?

Repostit handles your video drafts and publishing. It does not generate media itself. Provide an accessible HTTPS video URL to the public plugin.

Will ChatGPT ask before publishing?

ChatGPT may request confirmation for publishing or scheduling according to its app permissions and action context. Review the chosen accounts and content before confirming.

Need help? Email support@repostit.io with the affected platform, the Brief or workflow identifier, and the error message. Keep passwords and access tokens out of your message.
